Chimera is Cavallo Star (Calimero/Ulft) x Dorie B Good xx. Her sire Cavallo Star (Calimero(Legaat/Amor)/Ulft) prepotently passes on his powerful topline and movement, and has the old and valuable lines of Amor, Legaat, and Marco Polo to stand behind him. Chimera’s riding career was cut short by a kick to the hock at 2 years old, but she nonetheless exhibits correct conformation, good movement, and an excellent work ethic. In 2017, she produced a stunning filly by Balt’Amour that is not only correct, but gorgeous with lovely flat-kneed movement. This filly, “Rha’ella”, recently had her yearling OCD X-rays and was given the much sought-after “All Clear!” from the vet! This means Chimera produced an OCD-free filly! As such, Chimera has so far outproduced herself in her foals. She has been bred to Apiro for a 2019 foal – and she took right off the bat, on the first try! We are planning to retain her 2017 filly, and so are offering Chimera for sale in foal to Apiro. She is approved Westfalen/RPSI for breeding, and is registered ISR/Oldenburg with full pink papers.
