Nefertiti MFF (Bliss MF x Sabantha Fortuna (Voltaire)) represents a cross between a sire that has seen a great deal of success in producing hunters, and a dam that was herself a phenomenal hunter. Nefertiti herself is an incredible mover, with beautiful elasticity, flat knees, and a long reach through her shoulder. She is also sweet and curious, traits that translate well for later in life.
Bliss MF (Balou du Rouet/Argentinus/Pik Trumpf) has become quite the hot commodity in the last few years, proving to produce athletic, gorgeous horses with striking, elastic movement. Balou du Rouet is #9 on the WBFSH ranking for Show Jumping Sires, and brings talent over fences in addition to wonderful movement. Argentinus himself jumped to 1.50 m and was well known for production of both top quality show jumpers and dressage horses. This combination in a stallion indicates prepotency for producing both great jumpers and great movers – e.g. a show hunter’s dream!
Sabantha Fortuna (Voltaire/Abantos/Ronald/Nimmerdor) made a name for herself showing across the country in the Green Working Hunters for more than a decade after jumping to 1.20 m in the Netherlands. She is of the successful fokfamilie 527 (a Dutch mareline) and has four half siblings out of the same dam, all by different stallions, which have jumped to 1.20 m, 1.35 m, 1.40 m, and 1.60 m! The KWPN has given her a jumper breeding value of 122 and crowned her with the title of “Ster”.
This foal is an upper level hunter prospect, and one of our nicest prospects at that – hunters, hunter derbies; the sky is the limit with this remarkable pairing.
Expect to see Nefertiti MFF in the Hunter Breeding Divisions and in the Green Hunters later on!

Nefertiti comes from fokfamilie 527 – a very esteemed line of horses not only successful in jumpers, but also with high breeding values in dressage and success in the hunter show ring. This includes four half siblings, all by different sires, all of which have gone on to jump 1.20 +. Stallion Kadans Fortuna, out of the same dam as Sabantha and by Tygo, has jumped to 1.60 m, Zuliantha Fortuna, by Quasimodo Z, to 1.40 m, and Electro Fortuna, by Unainem, to 1.35 m!
Stallions born of this mareline:
Global Champion TN (Calvaro Z), 1.40 m, Owned by Team Nijhof
Creedance (Lord Z), 1.60 m, Ranked #63 on HorseTelex Results

Sabantha’s mareline fokfamilie 527 is exceptional; “Tuna”s dam Nabantha Fortuna alone produced four half siblings all by different stallions, Kadans Fortuna (Tygo), Zuliantha Fortuna (Quasimodo Z), Electro Fortuna (Unaniem), and Bon Fortuna (Kreator xx) which have jumped to 1.60 m, 1.40 m, 1.35 m, and 1.20 m respectively! In addition, 3/4 sibling Sirea Fortuna, out of the same Fortuna line as Sabantha, jumped to 3’6” (), and her daughter by Celano jumped to 1.35 m! Also, the stallion “Creedance” may ring a bell for you, as he is of Sabantha’s immediate damline and not only jumped 1.60 m at the international level, but is currently ranked #63 worldwide according to HorseTelex Results.
Voltaire (Furioso II/Gotthard/More Magic xx) was the result of crossing two outstanding bloodlines – Furioso II and Gotthard. He jumped to 1.60 m and produced a VERY long list of horses that also competed to 1.60 m – including Concorde, Mezcalero, Kannan, Vegas, Up to Date, Kloitaire du Moulin, and Miami de Semilly. He has become known not just as a producer of Show Jumpers, but also as a producer of hunters such as Popeye K, and appearing in hunter stallion pedigrees such as Amazing, Praise (Vallado), Toronto, Viva Voltaire, and Parcival.
Abantos jumped to 1.60 m and has produced horses that have jumped up to the same height! He is unique in that he is Abgar xx / Pericles xx / Rigoletto, making him in total 81% Thoroughbred blood. This means he his presence in a pedigree has the added benefit of adding blood and refinement to heavier ancestors.
Ronald was sired by Ramiro Z, one of the most influential ancestral stallions in warmblood breeding. Ramiro jumped to 1.60 m in International Grand Prix and Nations Cups, and competed in Puissances up to 2.2 m! He was described as being of ideal conformation and type, and was very much an improvement stallion as he passed this on dominantly. He also sired Ratina Z, an Olympic Gold medalist in Show Jumping! Ronald jumped to 1.40 m himself, and produced several offspring that jumped to 1.60 m.
Nimmerdor jumped to 1.60 m and was actually selected for the 1970 Los Angeles Olympics! He later went on to found a dynasty among the Dutch Warmbloods with his carefulness, scope, and great technique. Not only was Nimmerdor a legend, he also makes a particular niche with Voltaire – Tuna’s immediate sire. This niche can be seen in such big stallion names as Kannan, who jumped to 1.60 m and is ranked #7 on the WBFSH Sires list for the offspring he has competing in show jumping, and Now or Never M, who competed to 1.40 m and has several stallion sons proving his own niche with Belisar/ Saros xx.
Camelita is currently in foal with her first foal! This youngster will be by Toronto (Now or Never M/ Belisar/ Solaris). Check out our “Youngstock” page to find out more about this foal.
